Benefits of Adding Shutters

Hardwood Shutters
One of the benefits of adding shutters is that there are three unique styles to choose from, depending on your specific design goals. The first is Hunter Douglas Heritance® Hardwood Shutter. These classic window treatments are intentionally crafted from genuine hardwood, which offers a high quality and beautiful appearance. This also lends itself to have long-term performance. Not only do these use the Integra™ finish, which creates high luster, but they are also created using Truemill® dovetail construction, which is one of the strongest methods of holding panels together.
These shutters, which come in a horizontal orientation, can also be used on a variety of window shapes, which is another one of the benefits of adding shutters. As for how you can customize each piece, you have the freedom to choose from our existing paints and finishes, or, on the other hand, you can create your own custom color to fit your design goals.
Faux Wood Shutters
The second style you may want to think about when considering the benefits of adding shutters is our Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ Shutter. These are great in bathrooms, kitchens, and any other space that may exhibit high humidity due to the UV-resistant Polysatin™ material used during the creation process. Thanks to its inherent durability, they will not crack, fade, or warp. Additionally, the fact that they are water-resistant makes them worry-free additions to any space.
As with the Heritance® Hardwood, there are also any customization options for this type as well. On top of a range of beautiful colors, such as White Silk and Bright White, you can also pair these with PowerView® Motorization if you are looking for a way to add extra convenience to your new window treatments. As you can see, there are many benefits of adding shutters.
Hybrid Shutters
The final style that we offer is Hunter Douglas' NewStyle® Hybrid Shutter, which is created from modern-day materials but appears as though it was made from genuine hardwood. Thanks to the UltraGrain™ finish, each piece appears to mimic the look of real wood. There are many benefits of adding shutters, ranging from durability to versatility.
